The date is displayed �C in a patented system �C by means of a disk around the circumference of the carriage. The El Primero chronograph's automatic calibre is the heart of the movement. While the high frequency assigned to this exceptional motor generates greater precision, it also demands increased power. To protect performance, Zenith designers have developed an in-line escapement that shifts the balance spring to the outer edge of the rotating carriage. The result is a tourbillon and a high-frequency automatic chronograph with over 50 hours of power reserve. Specifications: The case, in 18kt rose gold or in stainless steel, measures 44mm (39mm dial opening). It has double AR-coated sapphire crystals and is water resistant to 100 meters. Dials come in black sunray or silver sunray with Rhodium faceted hands covered in Superluminova SLN C1 or rose gold plate for the rose gold version. Movement is the Swiss automatic Zenith in-house El Primero caliber 4035D, with 25 jewels, 36,000 vph and a power reserve of 50 hours. This caliber is composed of 381 parts (67 for the rotating cage of the Tourbillon).
