Beside the aesthetic success of the 'uncovered heart', the new Zenith watch reflects the technical mastery of the brand's craftsmen: to make the heart of the El Primero movement visible, it has been placed to 10 o'clock, so the curious eyes can see into the perfectly synchronized vibrations. Furthermore, the Chronomaster Open Power Reserve employs a sophisticated dial which accommodates central hours and minutes and second chronograph counter with facetted, rhodium-plated hands, small seconds placed at 9 o'clock, a power-reserve indicator featuring a blue hand, a 30-minute indicator located at 3 o'clock also with blue hand, hand-set hour-markers and a tachymeter engraved on the flanges. A sapphire crystal coat anti-glare treated on both faces protects the case and the dial of the new model. The spectacular movement hidden inside is visible through the sapphire glass case-back.
