Watchmaker Audemars Piguet has revealed a new timepiece which looks to bring one of its oldest designs up-to-date.Entitled the Millenary Minute Repeater, the stylish watch looks to build on other minute repeater timepieces that the company has been making since 1892, according to Watch Time.This is done by including AP escapement, a double balance-spring and a series of hammers and striking gongs.It is the double-spring design which has particularly caught the eye of the news source, noting that this element allows the timepiece to flow at 21,600 vibrations per hour.Complementing this fashion watch is an oval case decorated in brushed titanium, as well as a polished titanium bezel for added elegance.Audemars Piguet was celebrating recently after announcing its newest brand ambassador as Michael Schumacher, the Formula One icon known to be "fascinated by watchmaking", Watch Time recently reported.
