The new mechanical self-winding movement, elaborated and manufactured by the Manufacture, allows the watch to indicate the 37 time-zones of the world, among which there are the time-zones offset from Universal Coordinated Time (UCT) by a half - or quarter-hour. The exclusive mechanism was patented by the brand. The Vacheron Constantin specialists wanted to develop a mechanical movement that would allow the timepiece feature the time not only in the full time zones, but also the partial ones, keeping the watch's owner aware of the exact temporal reality in the 37 time zones. It should be mentioned that there are countries that adopted a half-hour or quarter-hour difference from UTC. The new Vacheron Constantin movement takes account of this difference.
