"Aronde" is an Old French word for wings of a swallow. This name of the watch was suggested by the signature double-rounded curve unfurling along the case flanks like wings. This original detail is accentuated by a distinctively cambered sapphire crystal. The refined opaline silvered dial is adorned with a hand-guilloche motif. It is completed with applied gold numerals, hour-markers and Maltese Cross symbol. The new Vacheron Constantin watch is equipped with an in-house mechanical hand-wound movement - Calibre 1400 AS. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the 20-jewel movement offers a 40-hour power reserve. It animates the hours, minute, small seconds presented via a rectangular counter at 6 o'clock.
