Vacheron Constantin is a known watchmaker when it comes to elegant timepieces and this year, they are presenting a new timepiece from their Overseas Collection called as Vacheron Constantin Overseas Automatic Chronograph which is presented in an elegant yet very sporty look.Just by looking at this timepiece, you can easily say that this one is different from other Vacheron Constantin watches because of how they treated every part of this watch. This Vacheron Constantin Overseas Automatic Chronograph is basically made of two materials. The first is the gray stainless steel which composes the case, and the anthracite titanium which composes the bezel. These materials are matched with a black alligator leather strap. This timepiece also includes a matching slat gray dial that is accented with luminescent coated white gold hour markers and hands. Aside from its sporty and elegant look, this watch is also equipped with useful functions including a big date indicator on the window at 12 o'clock, small seconds counter on 6 o'clock, and hour and minute counters on 9 and 3 o'clock position respectively.The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Automatic Chronograph may not be as luxurious as their other watches because of its sporty look but it is still expected to be an expensive timepiece.

Most of the time, I neglect the Vacheron and drool on pictures of ‘his’ Patek Philippe Nautilus, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and IWC Ingenieur SL.I always found it hard to get proper information and pictures of the Vacheron Constantin ’222′, nowadays known as the Vacheron Constantin Overseas. The ’222′ was the last icon that Gerald Genta designed in the 1970s, just one year after the Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700 and . The in 1977 introduced ’222′ was limited to 500 pieces in stainless steel, 100 in gold and 120 in gold/steel combination. These watches were delivered in a nice leather box and included a money clip in the shape of the watch case.The movement in the ’222′ is the VC 1120, based on the Jeager LeCoultre caliber 920 movement (but never used it in their own watches).
