Swiss watchmakers, led by Vacheron Constantin, are fighting back against the scourge of counterfeit imitations that continue to flood the market. The Geneva-based luxury watchmaker announced this week that it will introduce a bevy of security features, such as laser engraving only visible under ultra-violet light. An impressive turnout of 120 participants enjoyed an excellent golfing day at the Golf Club Lavaux situated in a picturesque location, near the city of Lausanne. Participants included numerous professionals and prominent local personalities - and the Club was very proud that Mr Urquhart (OMEGA President) and Mr Schreve (Retail Manager Swatch Group & Tourbillon Boutiques) were also able to be present at the prize-giving ceremony. Sunny weather conditions made for a wonderful competition which culminated in a prize-giving ceremony, aperitif and Barbeque attended by Stephen Urquhart and Frederik Schreve.
