Seiko offers under their Wired brand a unique limited edition watch featuring a 60 facet glass. The Wired Beams is sold exclusively from the Beams store in Japan. Only 300 are going to be available. The price of 48,000 Yen (~$406) in an affordable range for a unique fashion watch like this.Beams is a trendy shop in Japan that was established in 1976. The Wired Beams watch celebrates the 30th birthday of the shop. The 60 facet on the glass create interesting optical effects looking at the dial.More details in this Seiko press-release (Japanese) and on the Beams shop (Japanese).We reported about the futuristic Wired line of Seiko already back in 2004. The styles are still not sold outside of Japan, which is a pity, as the Wired watches are featuring unique and interesting watch designs.

These are two versions of the Discus from the new Seiko Japan Moving Design Collection. These mechanical watches have a three numbered discs that continuously rotate to display hours, minutes and seconds. I like the smoked glass version the best. I have heard you can find them on eBay for $899, but I have not been able to find any available in the US at this time.
