Porsche Design celebrated the launch of their flagship ION Orchard Singapore recently, with more than 200 guests and media enjoying champagne, canapés and latest goods of the German mark.

In a bit of a coup of logistics, Porsche Design managed to get a Porsche Boxster white in the Mall and Park right outside the shop. Porsche Design CEO Dr. Juergen Gessler flew in for the launch, where he expressed the importance of the Asian market to the mark.

With the new store at Singapore we are now present in 16 locations in Asia. And he will come even more stores in the coming months. We really look forward to intensify our activities in this region as Asia is still one of the markets of the more rapid growth for luxury products, "Sayyid Gessler."

The new Oris Chronoris Grand Prix 70 Limited Edition's case shows that the designers from Oris have played a little bit with lines and curves and have managed to create a very sporty, yet robust design that's quite catchy to the eye. With a case back covered with mineral glass and a case top covered with sapphire crystal we can be sure about the safety of the movement. The case assures that the interior mechanism remains untouched and it also provides a generous 50 meters water resistance. Remarkable because of the functions provided, the new Oris Chronoris Grand Prix 70 Limited Edition is equipped with indicators for the hours, minutes and small seconds, a date indicator, a second time zone indicator, a tachometer and a chronograph. Moreover, the watch is equipped with a countdown function, a function that is indispensable to any sport as each and every sport is designed to measure performance and evolution. Based on a mixture of black and green, the dial of the watch matches perfectly the intended vintage design of the new Oris Chronoris Grand Prix 70 Limited Edition. Some of the main characteristics of this dial are: a sub-dial located at the 6 o'clock position, showing the hours, a small seconds counter at the 9 o'clock position, and another sub-dial indicating the 30 minutes counter at the 12 o'clock position. Additionally, the countdown technical feature is presented in British Racing Green, just like the second time zone.
