London International Horse Show the precursor to the Rolex FEI World Cup started on Tuesday in Olympia. The occasion saw the best line-up of horses and competitors in the last ten years. The field was all set for the competition where some of the best competitors come together and compete against each other to succeed in the race. This event can be called as the halfway leg of the Rolex FEI World cup series in winters. Out of the top ten in the world, four of the horses racing enthusiasts have come to UK to be a part of this grand event to be held in Olympia. The four competitors are Rolf-Goran Bengtsson, Kevin Staut, Penelope Leprevost and Edwina Alexander.Other competitors who can be seen in the competition are Eric van der Vleuten who qualified for the Olympia race in the year 2009 and the person who won the international jumping riders club final- Steve Guerdet. He won the final race on Friday in Geneva. There will be 14 British riders who will be a part of the event along with Billy Twomey from Ireland. Billy's rank in the World Horse Racing is ninth and he is all set to attend and compete at the event. He won the third position in the 2008 Rolex 24 at Daytona along with teammate Bryce Miller. Both veteran drivers of the Paul Miller Racing camp, Bryan Miller and Bryce Seller, are confident that their team would do well at the Daytona International Speedway this year.
