London International Horse Show the precursor to the Rolex FEI World Cup started on Tuesday in Olympia. The occasion saw the best line-up of horses and competitors in the last ten years. The field was all set for the competition where some of the best competitors come together and compete against each other to succeed in the race. This event can be called as the halfway leg of the Rolex FEI World cup series in winters. Out of the top ten in the world, four of the horses racing enthusiasts have come to UK to be a part of this grand event to be held in Olympia. The four competitors are Rolf-Goran Bengtsson, Kevin Staut, Penelope Leprevost and Edwina Alexander.Other competitors who can be seen in the competition are Eric van der Vleuten who qualified for the Olympia race in the year 2009 and the person who won the international jumping riders club final- Steve Guerdet. Billy's rank in the World Horse Racing is ninth and he is all set to attend and compete at the event. She cannot be compared with him in terms of talent but will be a good replacement. Adelinde Cornelissen from Holland and Laura Bechtolsheimer will compete in the World cup freestyle qualifier to be held on Wednesday night. This will add a spice to the event as both of them will put together a great show for the spectators.From the British Islands, Bechtolsheimer is the dressage rider who has achieved most success. She is 25 and at this age, you very rarely find people who have achieved so much in their career. Her first competitive appearance will be made in the London international horse show at Olympia. She won a triple silver medal in Kentucky a few months back and this will be her first appearance after that.
