Jean Richard has just unveiled a new diver's watch, the Aquascope. Like all of the timepieces made by Jean Richard, this watch is powered by the JR1000 (an in-house movement). This model was created to pay homage to the unique dive watches that were created by Jean Richard in the 1960s. The Aquascope stainless steel case is polished and satin-finished. The case features the brand's signature tonneau shape and is (44.50 x 40 x 11.85mm). The crystal is convex with a colorless anti-reflective treatment. To calculate dive time, the external bezel features a 60-minute scale, with 120 teeth (for half-minute settings). Surprisingly, the bezel is bidirectional, most dive watches feature unidirectional bezels, but in this case the bezel cannot be accidentally adjusted without first unscrewing the crown at 9 o'clock. Richard Mille RM 010 Boutique SpecialThe new Richard Mille RM 010 Boutique Special automatic watch is issued in a super-limited edition of 10 pieces and is reserved exclusively for RM`s boutique located at the famous Place Vendome square in Paris.According to the Swiss watchmaker, the openworked timepiece is equipped with the RM 010 automatic movement, which is in fact a skeletonized version of their earlier RM 005 caliber.The little engine is known for its unusual oscillating weight that features “most optimal winding.”The watch features Richard Mille’s signature tonneau-shaped case, which is delivered in a matt black DLC coating.The diamond-like hard treatment makes the watch more resistant to occasional scratches.It must be noted that the case, which measures 48.00 mm in height, 39.30 mm in width, and is 13.84 mm thick is rather bulky and may look awkward on a smaller-sized wrist.As you can see on the picture, the Richard Mille RM 010 Boutique Special features a skeletonized dial with white dial ring and 12 Arabic numerals engraved right on the front sapphire crystal.
