Limited Edition of 30 Pieces for the Americas Richard Mille unveils a new limited edition of his automatic diver's vatch exclusively for retailers in North and South America. The RM 028 Americas comes in a dark black DLC titanium case with red and white numerals and hands, and a bright red inner bezel and rubber crown protector. It measures 47mm x 14.6mm. The RM 028 adheres to diver's watch ISO norms 6425 with its water resistance of 300 meters (30 ATM) and a unidirectional bezel. This level of water resistance is achieved with a three part case construction and 22 torque screws, with complete integration of the lugs into the case system. This configuration prevents any accidental dislodging of the bezel from its case while diving. The skeletonized automatic movement of the RM 028 utilizes a rotor with variable geometry, a major innovation of Richard Mille that allows the level of automatic winding to be adjusted to the user's lifestyle via the setting of two 18kt white gold wings. MSRP is $82,000.

They adapted every component for underwater use.The case construction incorporates screw-down crowns and the sapphire crystal that is 2.5 times thicker than a standard sapphire crystal. The sapphire crystal has antireflective coating. The dial is completed with luminescent hands and indicators to guarantee supreme readability under reduced or no light conditions.The brand's specialists opted for titanium for the case, as this material is characterized by its hypoallergenic qualities and is harder than steel, at the same time being 40% lighter. Titanium is highly resistant to corrosion under different conditions, including sea water. The case acquired its rough look with help of sand-blasting that resulted in its dark grey shade nicely matching the color of the opaline dial and fabric strap. The 43mm case of the Diverscope Titanium Watch features a tonneau shape, while incorporating a round bezel. The watch has two crowns. The crown at 3 o'clock is used for setting the time and date, while the crown at 9 o'clock is used for a diving function - for adjusting the internal bidirectional bezel recording the dive time. The case is provided with a special safety system to avoid any accidental movement. The settings, including turning the rotating bezel, can only be performed after you unscrewed the crowns.The heart of the new JeanRichard watch is JR1000 Caliber. The 27-jewel movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, gives an advantage of a 48-hour power-reserve.
