Tissot Launches an Augmented Reality Application on its Website and Brings 3D Advertising to the Watch Market Tissot, is one of the first Swiss watch brands to launch the 3D augmented reality technology. Today it is the first Swiss watch brand to offer this application on its website. The application is available on the Tissot website and allows users, when they hold their wrist in front of a webcam, to try on watches and change models, colors and styles on their computer. At the same time, special advertising visuals have been developed featuring a watch as a tip-on allowing the readers to "try on" the watches at home using their own webcam enabled computer. By logging onto the Tissot website they can see themselves wearing the watches in realtime 3D.
