A Tissot watch was collected as a prize alongside the International Motorsports Hall of Fame Driver of the Year Trophy by drag racer Tony Schumacher last week.Schumacher, who races for the US Army National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Top Fuel team, won the 2008 Driver of the Year in Talladega Alabama.He is the third NHRA driver to win the award, after John Force captured the award in 1996.Schumacher said: "While we've already turned the page to the 2009 season, it's nice to be able to reflect on what was truly a historic season."When I look back to last year, I feel blessed I was part of such a great team. I'm not sure we'll ever see that kind of dominance again in drag racing."Tissot watches were recently mentioned alongside another award, when Ryan Newman picked up the NASCAR Sprint Cup Tissot Pit Road Precision award earlier this month.

Tissot adds a fifth world championship to its sponsoring calendar this year, as it partners with the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA) in New York, as Official Timekeeper for the World Freestyle Wrestling Championships, to be held this year at Madison Square Garden.The Tissot T-Touch, is also the official watch of the championships and will be awarded to each of the 14 champions.
