Roger Dubuis Excalibur Lady AutomaticThe new Roger Dubuis Excalibur Lady Automatic watch is presented in a choice of three cases: stainless steel, white gold and rose gold. The latter, the most imposing of them all, comes with 48 diamonds set on its trademark indented bezel.As the rest of the Excalibur family, the watch features a triple lugs case design and comes with a pair of dauphine-shaped hands that bear no lume whatsoever.The silvered satin sunburst dial is decorated with stretched Roman numerals. Although looking great and very organic, alas, the black digits add small value to the timekeeper’s legibility: they are here more for decorative purposes.The monotony of the dial is slightly diluted with the small seconds indicator positioned at 6 o’clock.The watch is powered by the RD821 automatic COSC-certified chronometer movement. Presented about a year ago, the caliber features rhodium-plated bridges, is adorned with Cotes de Geneve pattern, and bears the famous Geneva Seal sign.Thanks to the mechanism’s slimness, the watch is presented in a slender-looking mid-sized case 36 millimeters in diameter.The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Lady Automatic will be sold on a silk strap with a pin buckle.

Noted Master watch maker Roger Dubuis has issued a statement denying categorically that he was recently been asked to work in collaboration with Franck Muller Watchland.Mr. Dubis praised Carlos Dias, the day-to-day managing director of Roger Dubis SA and confirmed he had been released from the "daily constraints of management" so that he could continue to undertake his technical work.
