JeanRichard Unveils Bressel Homage Daniel, Bressel 1665 Small Hour and Minute and Bressel Highlands Sand Watches

The SIHH 2011 trade show heartily welcomes new watches, produced by the house of JeanRichard specially for men. The line includes three extraordinary timepieces: Bressel Homage Daniel, Bressel 1665 Small Hour and Minute as well as Bressel Highlands Sand. The new Bressel Homage Daniel watch is a respectful nod to Daniel JeanRichard, the pioneer of watch*** in the Neuchatel Mountains. It is offered in a pink gold case, which measures 38 mm in diameter. The height of the case is equal to 9.30 mm.At 3 o'clock, the case features a perfectly executed winding crown. The allure of the model in question is further enhanced by elegant lugs. They open into a black alligator leather strap, finalized by a pink gold tongue buckle. The case is built to be water-resistant up to 30 meters. The top of the case is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The back side of the new JeanRichard watch is also fitted with a sapphire glass, which offers a great view of the in-house manufactured self-winding caliber JR1000 movement.Studded with 27 jewels, it runs at the rate of 28, 800 vibrations per hour. The power reserve, supplied by this reliable mechanism, constitutes 48 hours. This caliber serves to animate the functions, which are immediate and clear on a white lacquered dial. Fitted with black Roman numerals, it ensures hours, minutes and seconds, individually displayed by blued-steel leaf-shaped hands. The watch face also offers a function of date, shown through an aperture at 3 o'clock. The number, denoting the date, is clothed in red. Completing the impeccable design of the dial is the brand's name, which resides beneath the Roman numeral at 12 o'clock. The next men's watch, named Bressel 1665 Small Hour and Minute, pays tribute to the Daniel JeanRichard's place and date of birth. Representing the brand's desire to offer a piece of history, this model is skillfully brought into a contemporary context. The model is delivered in a noble stainless steel case. Its dimensions are 38 mm x 10.75 mm: diameter and height indicated correspondingly. The case is equipped with an easy-to-grasp winding crown, conventionally located at 3 o'clock. It provides 30-meter water-resistance.On its front side, the case is assembled with a high-grade glare-proofed sapphire crystal. The back part of the new Bressel 1665 Small Hour and Minute watch, also boasts a sapphire glass, bolted down with six screws.Beneath the top sapphire crystal there is a white lacquered dial with a balanced layout. It exposes an off-centered hour and minute display, completed with black Roman numerals and blued-steel leaf-shaped hands. The small seconds tick away in a neat counter, arranged in the left part of the watch face. The main counter is overlapped with a date display. A power reserve indicator, meanwhile, is found a bit offset at 6 o'clock. The functions are brought to life by the manufactory-made self-winding JR1040 movement. Paved with 29 jewels, it beats to the rhythm of 28, 800 vibrations per hour and offers an 48-hour pour reserve. The new timepiece is fitted with an alligator leather strap, joined to a stainless steel tongue buckle. This model can be also proposed with a gem-set bezel or a pink gold case. Completing the range is the new Bressel Highlands Sand watch. It is set in a sand-blasted stainless steel case, which boasts generous dimensions of 44.50 mm x 40 mm. Unlike the pieces presented above, this model eloquently demonstrates its character, cast in sportive style. The case is outlined by a notched rotating bezel. Marked with Arabic numerals, it allows a second time-zone to be displayed. Fitted with a screwed crown, the case is submersible to 100 meters. The body of the new Bressel Highlands Sand watch is complimented by an ecru mat dial. It tells the time by means of black hands, inlaid with luminous compound.Traveling over luminescent Arabic numerals and indexes, they indicate hours, minutes and seconds. The slender seconds hand is tipped with a red arrow. The latter is matched in its color to that of date, presented in an aperture at 3 o'clock. The dial is shielded by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The case-back is also fitted with a sapphire crystal, secured with 4 screws. The bottom glass opens the view to the intricate workings of the brand's proprietary self-winding JR1000 movement. It incorporates 27 jewels and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement is endowed with a 48-hour power reserve. The new JeanRichard watch is accompanied by two straps: khaki fabric and brown calfskin. Both versions come equipped with sand-blasted stainless steel folding buckle.Look through a fine selection of JeanRichard watches:
