Jaeger LeCoultre Master Hometime Watches

(Store manager, Stephanie M. and co-worker Jason G.)Earlier this month I visited the Jaeger-LeCoultre flagship boutique in Beverly Hills. The store is modest in size, like many boutiques, but the assortment is not. This store has the most complete Jaeger-LeCoultre collection in country (the only JLC run boutique in North America). Including some exclusive "boutique only" timepieces. This boutique is right off of Rodeo Drive, sitting in between Richemont owned Panerai and IWC, in one of the most exclusive zip codes in the country, 90210. Within the immediate proximity there are also Breguet, Omega, Chopard, Chanel, Gucci, Cartier and LVMH boutiques. For my visit, I met with boutique manager Stephanie Moulard. Stephanine presented to me about ten watches from the collection. The "boutique only" platinum Duom��tre Chronograph, featuring dual movements, was my favorite. The Reverso Squadra Polo Fields Worldtimer/Chronograph was very impressive as well. The Memovox is probably the most sought-after Jaeger-LeCoultre watch amongst collectors. JLC is about to present a limited series of three new Master Memovox International watches at the Parisian concept store Colette. Why? Well, from the 29th of November till the 31st of December, 25 participants are showing off their best pieces of art (and timepieces are included in that definition) during a project called 'The Cabinet of Curiosities by Thomas Erber'.For this event at Colette, Jaeger-LeCoultre has created a special edition of the Master Memovox International watch in a black PVD-coated steel case. This model is issued in a three-piece limited edition.The Memovox was introduced in 1956 and features a mechanical alarm. The International edition of the Memovox has a city disc displaying 24 cities (because of the 24 hour timezones) that can be selected using the 2nd crown. For this special event at Colette, the word "Paris" has been replaced with "Colette", the name of the famous concept store. The automatic movement (caliber 956) consists of 268 parts and has a 45-hour power-reserve.
