The exquisitely finished movement can be viewed through the sapphire crystal back of the case.Furthermore, this fine IWC Portofino Dual Time Automatic GMT Watch employs a very legible black dial which accommodates central minute and hour-hands in a wonderful leaf shape, a 24-hour GMT indicator discreetly positioned in the upper half of the dial featuring a red hand which completes a full revolution once a day, a seconds-indicator located in the lower half of the dial and a date window placed at 3 o'clock, all features being a feast for the eyes of the brand enthusiasts, along with the hour-markers, indexes and Roman numerals that the dial also exposes. Available with the beautifully decorated Calibre 98900 manufacture manual-wind movement, this one is the ultimate dress watch.Sporting the famous flying minute tourbillon complication, this variation of the almost century-old pocket watch movement gets even more accurate with its frequency increased from 18,000 to more appealing 28,800 vph.The movement’s balance spring stores enough power to make it tick for as long as 54 hours.Like it is the case with a great number of other tourbillon watches, its black dial with applied Arabic numerals looks grossly unbalanced with all the visual “weight” concentrated between 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions.
