IWC Platinum Watches

IWC has just introduced a limited edition skeleton version of their popular Portuguese timepiece. This limited edition timepiece was created as a tribute to the founder of IWC, F.A. Jones. The round Portuguese case is made of 18K rose gold or 950 Platinum. It is powered by a hand wound IWC Calibre 98910 movement, that allows precise adjustment of the escapement (due to a long index regulator). The movement has decorative elements based on the historical Jones caliber from the beginning of IWC. The movement and dial are fully hand skeletonized, creating not only a working timepiece, but also a work of art.The Portuguese F.A. Limited Edition of 500 Pieces The case, in 18kt rose gold, measures 43mm x 11mm. The crystal is an AR-coated sapphire and it is water resistant to 30 meters. The movement is the IWC manufacture caliber 98900 with 21 jewels and a power reserve of 54 hours. It features a silver three-quarter bridge, a flying minute tourbillon with 47 parts.
