Hublot's appointment as F1's official watchmaker seems to have given the Swiss brand a new zeal, at least so it seems when we heard that Hublot's specialized team, The Confrerie Horlogere Hublot has unveiled a reinterpretation of the pocket watch in the form of a gun cartridge. The watch is poetically christened "Liberty" and also houses a Tourbillon. The time piece symbolizes power, luxury, aesthetic beauty and the promise of escaping conventional interpretation. The case has a gun cartridge shape, grade 5 titanium head and anadically oxidized matt black aluminum base. Hublot's Big Bang timepieces are known to exude class and luxury. The latest additions to this line are the Big Bang Gold timepiece and the Big bang Tutti Frutti Hazelnut timepiece. The dial and the bezel of the Big bang Gold timepiece is made in 18ct rose gold and has a satin finish. The bezel has six titanium screws. The timepiece features a micro-blasted bridge, beveled and polished screws and a tungsten carbide rotor with black PVD treatment. The main plate is sand-blasted and rhodium-plated; the barrel comes with a reinforced spring escapement, and features a Glucydur hairspring. Powered by an automatic Hublot caliber HUB4100 with 27 jewels, this classy timepiece has a power reserve of 42 hours and is water resistant up to 100 meters.
