Cartier has created a concept watch that after its manufacture and assembly, requires no further adjustments, ever. This is due to an innovative use of materials and technology. The watch is housed in a Ballon Bleu case that measures 46mm. It is made of an alloy of Niobium-Titanium (Nb-Ti). The concept of the Cartier ID One is to avoid ever having to service or adjust the hairspring, the balance wheel or the pallet fork, which in normal watches are the most "serviced" parts of a mechanical movement.
