Bell & Ross Instrument BR01-92 & 94 Carbon FiberIn times when even passenger aircrafts are made almost entirely of carbon fiber, it is no wonder that watch manufacturers start to offer more or less affordable time measuring devices made of this lightweight and extremely durable material.The new Bell & Ross Instrument BR01-92 & 94 Carbon Fiber watches have their cases, dials and even straps made of carbon fiber.While the yesteryear’s Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Carbon Concept Tourbillon and Chronograph watch featured a case AND a movement machined from a single block of forged carbon fiber, the new piece from B&R showcases a different approach.First, the BR01-92 &94 cases are actually a number of carbon-fiber sheets glued to each other in the same fashion as car tuners make their carbon bumpers and hoods.The second thing is that, trying to make the new watches more affordable to the general public, Bell & Ross decided to put inside the hi-tech cases rather average ETA 2892 and 2894 automatic movements.Anyway, it looks good, will certainly be quite reliable and, at a limited production run of only 500 pieces, may well become a collector’s item.

With the presentation of its enthralling jewellery watches, BijouMontre has conveyed a true spirit of La Belle Epoque. These horological novelties - BM 9220T, BM 9230T and BM 9250T models - portray the Art Deco design of the 20s, successfully brought into a contemporary context.The new BijouMontre watches enchant the beholders with exquisitely carved figure ornaments, presented on their bezels and mother-of-pearl dials. Harmonizing perfectly with the refined embellishments are artistically designed oversized Arabic numerals, revealed at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock.On the su***ce of the dial, the time is reduced to the essentials: displaying hours and minutes. Their progression is marked by centralized partially transparent light-toned and dark-toned hands. Giving life to the basic functions is a robust quartz movement.The dial of every new timekeeper is gently embraced by a 32 mm case, crafted from 925 sterling silver material. It is equipped with a supremely elegant winding crown, conventionally nestled at 3 o'clock.The case presents a shimmering play of Top Wesselton/VS diamonds, which overall weight totals to 0.78 carats.Other highlights of these impressive timepieces include dazzling gems, placed on the bezel at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock. The total weight of these jewels constitutes 1.80 carats. The BM 9220T watch boasts topaz stones, the BM 9230T model is adorned with citrines and the BM 9250T timepiece proudly reveals amethysts. Every model presented handles depths of up to 30 meters. The refinement of all new BijouMontre watches is accentuated by white straps. The issue of every timekeeper is strictly limited to 666 pieces worldwide.
