Porsche Design's latest addition is this automatic modular chronograph with a base ETA 2894 movement.The watch features a specially designed rotor made of titanium and black coated tungsten. The resulting design allows a view of the core components of the mechanical chronograph movement.The case, 40mm in diameter has double-sapphire crystals (top one with AR coating). It also features a screw-locked crown and case back, and a Tachometer scale complete the design. This chronograph is water resistant to 100 meters and is available with a caoutchouc (rubber) or titanium bracelet.3/6/03

[ via Porsche Design ]Porsche Design has designated a collection of products, including the "60 Years of Porsche" Classic Chronograph, in honor of the brand's anniversary. The timepiece features a date display, split-time measurement facility, tachymeter for measuring speed, luminous hour and minute hands, and a stainless steel casing. Only 600 are being produced.
