Always in the series of the pre-base world innovations, Porsche Design present one automatic stop watch with catching up with, the reference P’ 6920. This new titanium black DEVELOPING COUNTRY model is published in series limited to 200 specimens.The catching up with function makes it possible to post two different durations, or numbers it intermediate time desired by its user. Once the launched stop watch (pressure on the push rod of right-hand side located at 2 a.m.), the two superimposed central needles are put moving. The lower needle of the seconds is stopped by means of the third push rod of left: it indicates the first intermediate time. A new pressure on the push rod of left makes it possible the first needle "to catch up with" the second: the two again superimposed needles continue their race together. From this function was born the term from "catching up with".The P’ 6920 is characteristic of the style Porsche Design, because of fitting, of the typography and the color of its dial (the meters are punctuated of red and white which contrast on the remainder of the black dial). The ice sapphire is slightly bent, which gets for the extremities of the dial an effect "magnifying glass". The posting of the function of stop is done by the central needle of the seconds and the catching up with needle, being distinguished one from the other by their point of color, respectively red and green. To avoid the errors of parallax, the timer is printed on the edge of the interior face of glass sapphire. The principal needles are partially qualities, so as not to cover the other functions and postings. Just like the figures and the indices, they are covered with gray super luminova to offer a better visibility. The logo Porsche Design and the name of the watch are reproduced on the edge of the dial, thus underlining the harmony of the unit.The case 45 mms in diameter is titanium concur. It owes its black color with its preparing of DEVELOPING COUNTRY, a process of coating under vacuum which consists in producing by condensation a layer made up of black metal nitride checkmate, protecting the watch against the external impacts. This improvement guarantees an automatic reassembly of the movement in a minimum of gestures. When Porsche Design unveils a timepiece even time stops to take notice. Almost thirty years after making the world stop and take notice of the first ever titanium chronograph, Porsche is all set to watch history repeat itself once again. The famed brand has decided to reproduce the legendary chronograph model and we are sure the new reproduction will create as much buzz in the watch world as the original. The new Heritage P6530 remains true to the original and is constructed entirely in shot-blasted titanium, and measures 44mm. Powered by the automatic Swiss ETA caliber Valjoux 7750 with 25 jewels, this beautiful chronograph boasts of a 48 hour power reserve. The crystal is an AR-coated sapphire and it is water resistant to 60 meters.
