Piaget Altiplano Ladies Watch in Rose Gold (Ref. G0A36107)The Swiss watchmaker that is mostly known for its ultra-thin timepieces has recently presented a diamonds-set version of its Piaget Altiplano ladies watch.Presented in a compact rose gold case 34 millimeters in diameter, the new watch is powered by the Piaget 450P manually-wound caliber.Being only 20.50 mm in diameter and 2.10 mm in height, the ultra-thin movement provides the new timepiece with a minimum power reserve of 40 hours and offers a simple, but cute and well-executed complication: a subsidiary seconds hand, which is located at 10 o’clock.The small seconds hand sub-dial is decorated with a rose gold ring, which is set with 28 tiny brilliant-cut diamonds with a total weight of about 0.1 carats. The set-up boldly supports the main theme, which is set with the rose gold bezel, also adorned with 72 diamonds tipping the scales at some 0.5 carats.As you can see, the silver dial is decorated with eight Roman numerals. The one at 3 o’clock is replaced with the Piaget logo and the IX, X and XI are substituted with small baton-shaped hour markers — the solution that kind of spoils the picture.According to the company, the watch is going to be sold on a white alligator leather strap fitted with an “exclusive” pin buckle in rose gold.There is still no info about the planned retail price for the watch, but it is sure that the timekeeper will not be cheap.Well, at least there will also be a more affordable version in stainless steel.

It accommodates a Swiss made quartz Piaget 56P movement.On its front side, the case is assembled with a high-grade sapphire crystal.The company's artisans have also equipped the model with a solid case-back.The new Piaget watch is mounted on a black satin strap, which terminates in an 18-carat white gold folding clasp. The latter is highlighted by the sparkle of 44 brilliant-cut diamonds with the overall weight equal to 0.2 carats.A dazzling accessory, the model in question offers its graceful wearer a true reflection of contemporary femininity.
