A first in the watch*** industry, it is created through an electro-chemical process which transforms aluminium into the distinctive matt material. It is much lighter than ceramic but harder and more resistant than steel.The P.9000 automatic movement can be seen through the smoked sapphire crystal case back and was designed and constructed in the Officine Panerai manufacture in Neuchatel.
