Not doing the usual, Panerai is known for that. And this time too its no different. Come February and the watchmaker unveils his special edition watches that pay tribute to two of the country's most influential cities, Los Angeles and New York City. The highlight of the special limited editions would be the Big Apple and City of Angels images engraved casebacks. Created exclusively for the Panerai Beverly Hills boutique, the first set features an engraved case back depicting the quintessential, palm tree-lined Beverly Hills boulevard. The PAM 406 is a Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT - 44mm, of which only 20 models have been produced. The PAM416 is a Luminor Marina - 44mm, and 150 models of this style have been produced.

I'm pretty immune to the charms of this brand but these are some lovely and *** watches.My favorite is the Radiomir 10 Days GMT in pink gold, PAM00273. It uses the Panerai calibre P.2003 movement and has a 45 mm diameter pink gold case with a "sandwich" dial and pink gold hands. The central hand with the arrow displays the second time zone. The edition of 250 pieces that will be available starting in August.The Luminor 1950 Regatta Rattrapante, PAM00286 will be produced in a special limited edition of 500 pieces. It measures 44 mm in diameter and it houses Panerai calibre OP XVIII, an auto winder with column wheel created exclusively for Panerai. The watch will be available starting in May.This is Panerai's Radiomir Chronograph, ref. PAM00288. The movement is the Panerai Calibre OP XII with COSC certification in a Radiomir 45 mm case. The 700 piece edition will be available starting in August.The Radiomir Black Seal Ceramic, ref. PAM00292 has a case made of Zirconium Oxide. The movement is the Panerai Calibre OPXI which is COSC certified. 45 mm diameter, water resistant to 100 meters. The dial also has a torpedo in relief. The edition of 1000 pieces will be available starting in September.
