Piano keys �C the piano was his favourite instrument �C are reproduced on a black grooved dial reminiscent of a vinyl record. Engraved on the numbered back is the lion that the virtuoso used as a symbol, a virtuoso who also loved watches, particularly those with Roman numerals. The ultimate allusion, Oris has plated the VIII on the dial with pink gold, a reference to the eight Grammy Awards the musician collected during his career. The watch is delivered in a varnished wooden box along with a certificate and DVD. The stainless steel case measures 42mm and is water resistant to 100 meters. It is powered by an automatic Swiss ETA caliber 2836.

It is equipped with an imposing crown, manufactured from the same material.On its front side the case is assembled with a domed sapphire glass with interior anti-reflective treatment. The timekeeper is capable of withstanding water pressures down to 100 meters.The appealing case is complimented by a silver opalescent dial, composed of two parts.Due to this complex structure, the display acquires a three-dimensional look. The dial captures the time with visually stunning hour and minutes nickel hands, treated with Superluminova compound, which ensures exceptional night-time visibility. Joined by a nickel second hand with an 'O' counterbalance, they travel over elegant applied indices.The display of the new Artix Complication watch comprises an outer ring, which exposes applied Arabic numerals and minute-markers. The Arabic numerals are also featured on the inner ring, presented on the dial.The brand's logo resides inside the inner ring just below the numeral 31 of the pointer calendar. Beneath this inscription the audience can read the day and month indications, offered in two separate counters. The overall equilibrium of the dial is ensured by the moon-phase display, presented at 6 o'clock position inside the same ring. Giving life to the watch functions is a robust self-winding mechanical movement.The final touch is provided by a black croco print calfskin leather strap, closed with a folding safety clasp. The new Oris watch can be also accessorized with a multi-piece metal bracelet, enhanced with a jewelry clasp.
