As for the Special Jury Award, a price that it is free to give or not, it comes this year's to the Upside Down Number One by Ludovic Ballouard, "a humble and daring young watchmaker" who signs with this first creation, a "technical, poetic and playful" piece. Composed of watchmaking professionals and chaired by Kenan Tegin, the jury made its final choice from among forty finalists themselves selected from a shortlist of more than one hundred novelties appeared on the Swiss market between September 2009 and December 2010. The finalist watches have also been submitted to the public voting in an online contest. After the counting, the Duom��tre �� Quanti��me Lunaire by Jaeger-LeCoultre wins this Award.
