Rare Watches Rolex and Patek Philippe, as well as a special wristwatch of the legendary watchmaker George Daniels is offered for sale of Sotheby's London on December 18, 2008. 18 K white gold watch heavenly Patek Philippe, ref. 5102, is one of the most notable lots, with its spectacular star map complication which presents an accurate representation of the night sky in the northern hemisphere.

Before 18 December put up for auction, Sotheby's will hold a series of exhibitions. The high quality of the watch is reflected in the attention to detail that includes an applied Omega symbol and rhodium-plated rings surrounding the chronograph counters.
