I'm sure many of you have seen the new men's cologne called Bang by Marc Jacobs, as it has been on the front page of the NYTimes.com and a number of other high profile sites and print magazines since its initial launch in July. At $55-$75 a bottle, it is not cheap, but you know what they say, "you get what you pay for" and that goes for cologne just as much as anything else. I had a chance to check it out in the store recently, and even though I am not a big cologne wearer, other than an occasional spray of Acqua di Gio, the new scent from Marc Jacobs has definitely piqued my interest. Why? I've been hearing that the new smell is uniquely appealing. So I definitely wanted to find out what the buzz is all about.When trying on cologne, there is no better way to see if it smells good on you than to ask a woman her opinion. So I recruited one of my female friends to go with me to my local Bloomingdales and see if the new "Bang" scent is worth buying. And after simply spraying one small squirt of the new cologne on my neck, my female friend and I had immediately made our decision. The decision was unanimous, we both really liked the new scent from Marc Jacobs. It is very unique, without being overly soapy or overly sweet. The Marc by Marc Jacobs spring 2011 range of fashion watches has been unveiled, which features a number of models inspired by funky designs and brave colours.A new category in the collection is Marine, which uses bold hues and military-inspired details.The Rock uses a silicone wrapped stainless steel bracelet and chronograph dial and shows off large indexes and a sporty bezel to give a casual feel.A spokesperson for the firm said: "The chic and edgy Rivera collection returns this season with a clear perspective. New styles offer a completely transparent plastic silhouette offset by a shiny metal or opaque centre link.
