In constant pursuit of excellence, Hublot has released its new F1 King Power India Limited Edition automatic chronograph watch.With the details impressively thought out, the new Hublot watch has adopted a 48 mm tonneau-shaped case, rendered in 18-carat King Gold alloy. It boasts a top antireflective sapphire crystal. The sapphire glass is also used for the case-back. The timepiece is offset by a round-shaped bezel. It is crafted from 18-carat King Gold alloy and satin-finished perforated ceramic. The model is 100-meter water-resistant.The new Hublot F1 King Power India Limited Edition automatic chronograph watch comes equipped with a black dial, which comprises white, orange and green elements. Traveling over contrasting hour-markers are partially skeletonized hour and minute hands, crafted from King Gold. They are joined by a chronograph seconds hand, counterweighted by an H-shaped symbol.The dial also ensures chronograph and small seconds functions presented through the counters at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. The date indication is offered in the aperture between 4 and 5 o'clock.All the functions are brought to life by a Swiss made self-winding HUB4100 movement, composed of 234 individual parts. Adorned with 27 jewels, it incorporates a micro-blasted black open-worked plate, a micro-blasted black heavy metal segment and polished black decorative screws. The power reserve, provided by the movement, constitutes, 42 hours.The new Hublot watch is mounted on an adjustable black Nomex strap with orange, white and green stitching. It joins to a King Power "King Gold" deployant buckle. I recently reported that the Swiss highly respect complex watch movement maker BNB Concept declared bankruptcy. All in the watch industry agreed it was sad and uncomfortable news. Not long after I am not too surprised to hear that someone has come to the watch movement maker's rescue - one of their biggest clients no less. LVMH owned Hublot has announced that it will buy BNB Concept. What this means is not 100% clear to me. Hublot has announced recently that it wishes to become a movement maker itself, adding to in-house made movements to its higher-end offerings. Reports indicate that Hublot is purchasing BNB Concept for some of its technology and staff, as well is its machinery. It is unclear whether BNB Concept's manufacture will continue in operation, or this will all be transferred to Hublot's new space. What is clear is that Hublot is not going to be able and save all of BNB Concept. So there will still be technicians and watch makers looking for work, as well as a host of other BNB Concept clients that will have to look elsewhere to get complex watch movements.
