Hublot's appointment as F1's official watchmaker seems to have given the Swiss brand a new zeal, at least so it seems when we heard that Hublot's specialized team, The Confrerie Horlogere Hublot has unveiled a reinterpretation of the pocket watch in the form of a gun cartridge. The watch is poetically christened "Liberty" and also houses a Tourbillon. The time piece symbolizes power, luxury, aesthetic beauty and the promise of escaping conventional interpretation. The case has a gun cartridge shape, grade 5 titanium head and anadically oxidized matt black aluminum base. The watch houses a manual-wind Swiss tourbillon-type, has 36 jewels and has a roller display of hours and minutes. The gorgeous watch can also be worn as a bracelet or pendant. [Timezone]

Limited Edition of 40 Pieces To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Greengo Club at the Gstaad Palace hotel, Hublot has created this Big Bang limited edition. It is only available at the hotel. The case, in microblasted black ceramic, measures 44.5mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 100 meters. Movement is the Swiss automatic Hublot caliber HUB4100, comprised of 252 parts and featuring a tungsten black PVD rotor.
