The house of Hublot has proudly released its new GreenGo Bang model. The spectacular watch pays tribute to the 40th anniversary of the famous GreenGo club. Located in Gstaad Palace, it represents a night spot for entertainment of the world's wealthy elite.The unique design and decoration concept of the place will take you back to the 70's and guarantee a classy atmosphere for an exciting party evening. At different times, the club was visited by Roger Moore, Elizabeth Taylor, Princess Diana, Michael Jackson, Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly, David Niven, Peter Sellers, King Juan Carlos, George Soros, Jeanne Moreau, Julie Andrews, Margaret Thatcher and many others.The eponymous timepiece by Hublot has been issued in a limited edition of just 40 individually numbered pieces. Each item is available with a "Big Bang" 44.5 mm case, crafted from microblasted black ceramic. The company's craftsmen have also endowed the new Hublot watch with an open case-back, produced from the same material.The body of the timekeeper in question is outlined by a noble bezel, fashioned from black composite resin. The bezel is bolted down to the case with six titanium H-shaped countersunk, polished and locked screws.The new GreenGo Bang watch is endowed with a massive steel crown with green rubber insert. The crown is supported by satin-finished steel, rectangular chronograph push-pieces with rubber inserts of the same color. The pushers are located at 2 and 4 o'clock. The water-resistance of the case is assured down to 100 meters.Housed in the model is a clearly laid out dial, dressed in the colors of the GreenGo club. Performed in black, it coordinates perfectly with satin-finished ruthenium colored hour-markers, with green Superluminova-inlaid appliques.Just as well, the green SuperLuminova is applied to partially transparent hour and minutes hands, also clothed in satin-finished ruthenium color. Slim as it is, the chronograph seconds hand features no luminous substance, yet boasts an H-shaped counterweight.Additionally, the display includes 30-minute, 12-hour and 60-second chronograph counters. They are positioned at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock correspondingly. These sub-dials are joined by a date aperture, revealed between 4 and 5 o'clock.The brand's logo sits comfortably beneath the 12 o'clock hour-marker. A special attention-getter of the watch face is the club's name, presented in orange. It substitutes the index at 8 o'clock. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, which features an anti-reflective treatment on both sides.All the functions mentioned are brought to life by an automatic mechanical chronograph movement - calibre Hublot HUB4100. The mechanism comprises 252 components. They include a sand-blasted and rhodium-plated main plate as well as satin-finished, bevelled and polished bridges. The power reserve, provided by the movement, constitutes about 42 hours.The new Hublot watch is accompanied by a black gummy alligator leather strap, adorned with green stitching. The dial and the bezel of the Big bang Gold timepiece is made in 18ct rose gold and has a satin finish. The bezel has six titanium screws.
