How to set the Tangomat GMT and Z��rich Weltzeit For the testing of its new xi caliber, NOMOS Glash��tte has constructed several watch variants that will compete against each other. Thus, the purchaser of one of these test models will possess a watch that will (possibly) never be made in this way again. The xi calibre (named after xi, the fourteenth letter of the Greek alphabet) is an automatic movement. In order for the world time feature to function properly, you first have to set it, in other words, you have to synchronize it with your home location. To do this, take the watch in your left hand, with the dial facing you and the winding crown pointing to the right. With your right hand, touch the push-piece situated at 2 o'clock and apply a little pressure. The city ring on the dial will then rotate counterclockwise. Each press of the push-piece will move the city ring one position further. At the same time, the hour hand moves one hour ahead.
