The SIHH watch and jewelry show has begun and Girard Perregaux is showing off a wide variety of watches several of which highlight the watches vintage styles.My favorite is this one, the Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 Jackpot Tourbillon watch combines a Tourbillon and a slot machine equipped with a striking mechanism in a Vintage 1945 case. The top of the dial has three symbols that spin while the bottom part of the watch reveals the tourbillon cage. A handle on the right side of the case sets the three reels in motion which then stop randomly on one of the possible five symbols, while a hammer strikes a gong. Out of the 125 combinations, only one represents the jackpot: the three bells in a row. The 43mm case is done in pink gold.Girard-Perregaux has created a model dedicated to the Monte-Carlo Rally of 1954. The tonneau-shaped chronograph with a has an automatic mechanical movement with hour. minute, small seconds, date and chronograph functions. The watch is being produced in two limited, individually-numbered series, 250 in steel and 50 in pink gold.The 2007 Laureato USA 98 Lady watch has an octagonal case and the hours and the bezel are decorated with diamonds for a total of 1.41 carats. The watch has a steel case and uses a mechanical movement with automatic winding that can be seen through the cut-out dial. It has a sapphire crystal and a see-through caseback. It comes in a limited and numbered edition of 50. pieces. The Girard-Perregaux 1966 Full Calendar is part of a collection paying homage to 1960s designs. It has a 40mm round pink gold case and a very *** and elegant look. The watch as a full calendar that displays the date, the day of the week, the month and the phases of the moon. It has a sapphire crystal case back that reveals the automatic-winding, mechanical movement GP033M0. The Girard-Perregaux Monte Carlo Fly-back chronograph has a function that resets the chronograph hands to zero without stopping once the chronograph is activated. The dial commemorates the 1970 Monte Carlo rally with the inscription "MONTE-CARLO 1970" on the dial and sub-dials inspired by the dashboard chronometers used by the winning drivers. The case back is engraved with the names of the winners and a reproduction of the registration-plate. The watch has a 40mm steel case and is limited to 250 pieces.
