His brilliant essay, “Civil Disobedience”, urges readers to be cautions of governments, as they can do much to stifle individuality.Next time you wear your Concord mariner watch, think of Hawthorne, Alcott and Thoreau, and of all the creativity and revolution that the humble town of Concord inspired.
