Dior La D de Dior 25 mm Ladies WatchThe legendary French fashion brand has finally added a third, middle-sized, member to it its elegant family of Dior La D de Dior ladies watches.Previously, the watch was available in very small (19 mm) or quite large (38 mm) cases that, naturally, limited fans of the brand in their choices. The watch in a medium-sized 25 mm case easily solves this problem making both customers and shareholders a trifle happier.The new Dior La D de Dior is issued in two versions: one with a purple mother-of-pearl dial, and the other, which is more to my liking, comes with a checkered silver face.Both models feature diamonds-set bezels and crowns and come only in stainless steel.Like almost all watches of this size, the Dior La D de Dior (it is so darn hard to correctly spell the name each time) is powered by a simple quartz movement.Since the watch is trying to capitalize on the “Swiss Made” century-old hype, the movement is also made and cased in the land of cheese, chocolate and cuckoo clocks.The pricing is still unknown, but the French company will probably offer it at a price of around €1200, give or take.

Shown above are the latest watches from Dior. On the left we have the newest design from John Galliano for Dior, the Christal Midnight Blue rubber watch. The watch has a 33mm stainless steel case and a blue mother of pearl dial set with 36 diamonds. The bezel is set with 90 diamonds and the bracelet is stainless steel set pyramid-cut, scratch proof blue sapphire crystal. The watch is a limited edition of 500 and sells for £3,150.On the right is the latest La D creation from Victoire de Castellane, artistic director of fine jewelry at the Dior house. This watch has an 18K rose gold case with a mother of pearl dial and an 18k rose gold in-set spiral of 55 pink diamonds. The bezel features 76 diamonds and the band is a black satin strap. This watch is a limited edition of 15 and sells for £14,900.
