Two lines of Casio watches could be getting a new lease of life soon after a new partnership was announced between the company and Kaiser Time.The popular Edifice and G-Shock styles are to be overseen by industry specialist Steven Kaiser, who hopes to continue the evolution of the timepieces within the accessories market.It is hoped that the partnership will further develop the strong presence of the watches, particularly for the younger side of the watch-buying demographic."I'm thrilled to be working with Casio to build the G-Shock and Edifice brand presence in the luxury watch and jewellery market," Mr Kaiser commented.He added that the styles have a "distinct look" and an innovative technology that really appeals to him.Earlier this month, Aly Walansky at myGloss.com said she recently attended the launch of the Edifice Black Label line in New York, a range which may appeal to fans of the original Edifice watches.

Rihanna has been spotted wearing a whole host of Casio watches in her latest music video.According to Watch ID, the Rude Boy singer sports four Baby-G and G-Shock watches on her wrist at once in white, yellow, pink and black.Wearing them all interlocked like this could have solved the problem of which one to choose for Rihanna, who is frequently seen with different coloured hairstyles.In the Rude Boy video, bold Casio watches also make up a psychedelic background in one scene, adding a really retro vibe to the clip.Rihanna has said she set out to make the music on her fifth studio album great so that her fans will not have to skip any tracks or listen to bad tunes in nightclubs.Fellow singer Ke$ha has also been sporting Casio watches recently, after she became the brand's worldwide ambassador at a launch party for the new Baby-G models in New York.
