Casio introduces new radio wave controlled wristwatches for the outdoors.The new PRW-1100YTJ (photo), PRW-1100BJ, PRW-1200TJ and PRW-1200CJ are able to synchronize time from 5 stations in the world; two stations in Japan, one in the US, one in the UK and one in Germany. Additionally the new Casio watches measure altitude, temperature and atmospheric pressure. Casio watch fans will be able to get a very cool offering from the company this month after the brand announced the release of the G-Shock GW-3000.The watch manufacturer has struck up a partnership with none other than Red Bull and its internationally-recognised Air Race World Championship in order to launch its new G-Shock watch series to match any pilot needs. According to Casio, the GW-3000 series has a remarkable number of extras such as the G-Shock watch staples of waterproofing and shock resistance as well as the perhaps unnecessary capability of withstand up to 15G in centrifugal force.Furthermore, the firm proudly announced that the timepiece is compliant with ISO2669 - environmental tests for aircraft equipment and steady-state acceleration - meaning it should be perfect for its target market of pilots.Released this month in Japan, the Casio G-Shock GW-3000 starts at 34,000 Yen (£230).It follows the release of the new Baby-G Casio timepiece, an ecological offering which has been created especially for the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.
