Recognizing the pursuit of excellence shared by haute horlogerie and the elite equestrian world, Swiss watchmaker Blancpain partnered with the 2010 World Arabian Horse Championship in December. Before the discerning audience gathered in Paris, representatives of the renowned watch manufacture presented the Stadnina Koni Janow Podlaski with the Blancpain Prize, and an exceptional Blancpain watch. The historic Polish stud farm is the owner of “Pianissima”, the 5-year old Arabian mare who earned the highest marks of the competition. The special Blancpain watch presented to Stadnina Koni Janow Podlaski was a complete calendar model with a moon phase complication in 18-karat red gold. This elegant self-winding timepiece with a 100-hour power reserve showcased an opaline dial with applied gold hour markers, and a sophisticated Hunter-style hinged back.

Blancpain is presenting another version of their Fifty Fathoms timepiece and this time they are displaying this model in a stylish ocean blue color thus naming it as the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Ocean Blue watch.This Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Ocean Blue is like the other version of the Fifty Fathoms which features an elegant design presented in a very simple manner which makes it more likeable. This watch is created by using a stainless steel material that composes the case and bezel of this watch. This watch also has a bezel that is made of ceramic and holds the 60 minute scale.Aside from this, it also has a canvass strap highlighted in blue which matches the bezel and the dial. The blue metallic dial of this watch is accented with bright luminescent coated hour markers and hands. It also has white accents on the logo and brand name.
