Combine a prestigious Swiss watch company with the maker of exotic Italian super cars, make it limited edition, and you will get the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo. Cars and watches have always gone together and we have seen less eloquent pairings than this, but coming from Lamborghini, it is a surprise this watch is as understated as it is. Ref. 6664-3642-55B This year's Baselworld marks the 275th anniversary of Blancpain, and for this occasion, the firm is debuting a Villeret Collection addition. The first timepiece from this new series is a new complete calendar moon-phase model with under-lug correctors, which is fitted into a half-hunter rose gold case. To facilitate setting of the indications, Blancpain has equipped the new Villeret timepiece with its patented under-lug correctors. This not only leaves the sides of the watches with a remarkably pure finish, unmarred by the presence of adjusters, but also means that changes can be accomplished with one's finger tips instead of requiring a dedicated tool. The 18kt rose gold case measures 40mm x 11.7mm with 22mm lugs. It has a sapphire crystal and sapphire display back and is water resistant to 30 meters. Movement is the automatic Blancpain in-house caliber 6654 (measuring 32mm x 5.32mm) with 28 jewels and a power reserve of 72 hours.
