The bezel has a brushed finish while the case and lugs are polished.The dial has a beautiful opaline vertical satin-brushed finish with "Cathedral" hands. The numeral hour markers are Breguet-style Arabic numerals crafted in pink gold while the pointers for small seconds, day, date, month, and leap year are crafted in blued steel. Located at the 9 o'clock position is the classical moon phase indicator. This indicates the motions of the Moon through a 29 1/2 day cycle. The watches minute repeater chimes the hours, quarter hours, and individual minutes on two gongs. The see-through case-back is produced from sapphire crystal and allows for easier viewing of the hand-wound Caliber 2855, which is composed of 435 hand-finished parts. The movement has a balance frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and features an advantage of 30-hour power-reserve. The bridges are decorated with Cotes de Geneve and anglage finishes. It also has beveled screws, jewels, and repeater hammers which feature a fine polish. The 253-component Calibre 3129 animates the hours, minutes and central seconds. It incorporates a cross-through balance bridge for optimal shock-resistance and a direct drive seconds hand to avoid any jerking. The use of a variable-inertia balance equipped with eight inertia-blocks guarantees stable rating accuracy. Calibre 3129 is also extremely user-friendly as it offers a stop-seconds function and a 60-hour power reserve.The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Skeleton watch has been created in two versions ?a steel case coupled with a steel bracelet fitted with a folding clasp and an 18K pink gold case presented on an alligator leather strap, also with a folding clasp.
