The competitive horological world has recently welcomed the Millenary Hand-wound Minute Repeater watch, created by Audemars Piguet. Equipped with the audible indication of time, the oldest of all horological complications, this model is available with an oval-shaped case, rendered in titanium. Its measurements are 47 mm x 42 mm: width and thickness indicated respectively. The case of the new Audemars Piguet watch is fitted with a powerful three-position winding crown and a sapphire crystal back side.The timekeeper comes equipped with a non water-resistant dial, performed in anthracite grey. The off-centered display is completed with applied pink gold Roman numerals. Sweeping smoothly over them are skeletonized hour and minutes hands. The small seconds are ticking away in a silvered counter, located in the lower part of the dial. The minute repeater slide activator is featured at 7 o'clock. The functions, provided by the new Millenary Hand-wound Minute Repeater watch, are brought to life by the brand's proprietary hand-wound calibre 2910 movement. It features the dimensions of 37.90 mm x 32.90 mm: width and thickness indicated respectively. The total thickness of the movement constitutes 10.05 mm. The caliber incorporates a direct-impulse AP escapement and a variable-inertia balance, fitted with inertia-blocks. Composed of 443 individual parts, the movement beats to the rhythm of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a respectable 165-hour power reserve.Entirely finished by hand, the mechanism boasts hand-polished bevelling, interior angles, snailing, hand-drawn file strokes, horizontal "Cotes de Geneve" motif as well as circular-graining on the main plate.The new Audemars Piguet is accompanied by a hand-sewn black crocodile leather strap, which strikes the eye with large square scales.
