SIHH 2010: A. Lange & Sohne 1815 ChronographDuring the recent SIHH 2010 industry event the German watch maker has presented its new A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Chronograph hand-wound wound watch.Inside its well-proportioned case, which is available both in pink (Ref. 402.032) and white gold (Ref. 406.026,) is hidden an in-house Lange L951.5 flyback chronograph movement.Plates and bridges of the movement are made of German silver, which, a matter of fact, is not real silver but a silver-colored alloy of copper, nickel and zinc.Being only 30.6 millimeters in diameter and 6.1 millimeters in height, the caliber allows for a rather compact casing of 39.5 mm and 10.8 mm respectively.

Hello ForumnersI guess we all thought that the only novelties Lange would be releasing this year were the two Luna Mundis. Well, nothing could be further from reality, a total of 15 new models/versions were shown at the SIHH! I am sure Peter will be putting together a comprehensive report on the news very soon and I'm glad to let him do all the work, höhöhö. But you can look forward to some very exciting news.Being a big Lange fan myself, I just had to share one of the new models, the Lange 1 "Luminous". The jury is definitely still out on this one, comments ranged from head-shaking to complete exhalation amongst the group I viewed these with.RegardsHans4/9/03
