I just received word that effective January 2011, Wilhelm Schmid, a former BMW executive, will takeover as Chief Executive Officer of A. Lange & Sohne. Wilhelm Schmid, 47, a German national, has held several positions in Marketing and Sales over the last eight years for BMW. Since 2007 he has been responsible for Sales and Marketing for BMW South Africa. Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Jerome Lambert will continue acting as interim CEO until Schmid takes over in January. Source: A.
